Explore the Alte Marche on two wheels A route of great interest that connects Acqualagna, Apecchio, Arcevia, Cagli, Cantiano, Frontone, Piobbico, Sassoferrato, and Serra Sant’Abbondio, winding through a territory rich in natural and cultural landmarks. Ten sections of the Alte Marche Apennine Cycle Path (CAAM) form a continuous loop, allowing cyclists to ride them individually or in successive stages. Stopping in these beautiful locations is an integral part of the experience, giving cyclists the chance to enjoy the local areas and their spectacular natural, cultural, and food and wine heritage. Ride and explore—the Alte Marche have great surprises in store for you. The route is fully signposted with technical details (length, elevation changes, KML/GPX tracks, elevation gain, minimum and maximum altitudes, recommended bike type, difficulty level, and estimated duration). The CAAM is safe and supported by clear signage indicating the trail and all necessary information. In each municipality, you will find a dedicated info-point area with illustrative panels featuring local tourist, environmental, historical-cultural, food, wine, and craft beer information, as well as details on technical assistance and e-bike rentals. In line with the requirements of the “Bike Marche” product network, these same stations feature an e-bike charging point, safety locking racks, and a repair column for minor fixes.
